The look after togo810 event

Togo810 event rides did help me loss further in weight and more tone up. If you had follow through my blog you will have seen the photo of how I look like when I am still on a folding bike. But for now, I had successfully proven cycling do slim one down and I am wearing a pair of jeans that is near 20 year ago. The photo will tell you a thousands words.... I purposely worn the same t shirt for this selfie.....

Aero wheels

Previously I had the Alu light weight rims with Chris king hubs R45 ceramic. However I notice the speed drops whenever I goes into the freewheel mode. Reason for the drop are too light wheels also the rims does not help to continue rotate well after spinning on it. After carefully thinking and decision made, I decided on Enve rims. Reason handmade in USA, life time crash warranty which you need pay 1/2 price for the replacement if crash and crack. Most wheel company does not have this terms.

Well hopefully I do not have to go into that stage then.

 

    

Finally the crank that I always want

Finally I found the crank that I always want under my bike list. Shimano Dura Ace 7800c.

It is the one and only also only batch of crank that shimano had made in carbon series. It becomes limited edition as it has only 1 batch released in market. And become rare item although it is carbon but it does not weight light like those carbon crank. Stiff and strong which allow more effective power transfer I would say.

 

  

The clipless pedal

As many road biker are using clipless pedal that allowing more direct power transfer due to push and pull effect on pedaling, I am going into it. Was pretty new to this stuff and took abit of time practicsing it to avoid fall off the bike.

 

  

Took part in togo810

In order to improve my riding, I took up the challenge of togo810 to complete 810km within 8weeks. But actual fact I complete it at 1500km which still land me in position40.
